Derived authorisation

A derived authorisation is based on an existing, fully assessed authorisation in the Netherlands, also called ‘’original’’ product of ‘’mother’’. The derived product is identical to the original product, but it is possible that the derived authorisation is valid for a smaller field of use, or for fewer types of packaging. Of course the product name and the authorisation number are different from the original product.
