Minor, administrative amendments and withdrawal
An ‘administrative change’ is an amendment of an existing authorisation of a purely administrative nature involving no change to the properties or efficacy of the biocidal product or biocidal product family. Two types of administrative changes can be distinguished:
- Changes which have to be notified before implementation; and
- Changes which can be notified within 12 months after after implementation
A ‘minor change’ is an amendment of an existing authorisation that is not of a purely administrative nature and requires only a limited re-assessment of the properties or efficacy of the biocidal product or biocidal product family.
A cancellation / withdrawal of an authorisation can be done at request of the authorisation holder or by the competent authority (national) or the Agency (EU). The cancellation on request is described in this chapter.
