5. Fate behaviour in soil: Leaching – NL part EM2.8

The following changes were made to the Evaluation Manual, Chapter 6, leaching to groundwater (NL part):

• The use of the criteria for a first tier assessment for the risk of leaching to groundwater with FOCUS PEARL has been clarified;
• The use of FOCUS PEARL in greenhouses as a first tier assessment for the risk of leaching to groundwater has been clarified;
• The use of multiple GeoPEARL simulations for substances whose properties depend on soil parameters has been explained in more detail;
• A table has been added to the Appendix of Chapter 6, leaching to groundwater (NL part), which can be used to select for the relevant (or most relevant) GeoPEARL crop.

In March 2024 Chapters 2 Physical chemical properties and Chapter Analytical Methods were combined. Hence the other Chapters are renumbered.
