Report only new authorisation information

The efficacy of an authorised product may be disappointing, or an unexpected effect of an authorised product on plants or resistance development may be observed. From 2024 onwards, the authorisation holder must only make the annual notification in such cases. If there are no unexpected effects, this no longer needs to be reported.

Please note that new information about potentially harmful or unacceptable effects on humans, animals or the environment must always be reported immediately to the Ctgb.

In case of plant protection products, notifications must be made at least once per year if information indicates disappointing efficacy, possible resistance development or unexpected effects on plants.
In case of biocidal products, new information about potentially harmful or unacceptable effects on humans, animals or the environment must always be reported immediately to the Ctgb.

These obligations follow from Article 56 of the Plant Protection Products Regulation EU/1107/2009 and Article 47 of the Biocidal Products Regulation EU/528/2012. For these notifications, the corresponding form should be emailed to post@ctgb.nl. The form is available on the website:
