Ingrid Becks reflects on her decision: "After working at the Ctgb for over 21 years, I am ready for a new challenge. It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I look back on the many wonderful years with this splendid organisation, which has an important societal mission. I have always been able to develop professionally at the Ctgb due to the challenging issues we face and the pleasant cooperation with colleagues, the Board, the associated government ministries and our external contacts. I therefore made this decision deliberately and carefully. At this stage of my career, I decided that I want to take a new step. Until my departure in the summer I will continue to be fully committed to the Ctgb and at that point I will consider the next step in my career."

With her knowledge and experience, she has been very valuable to us. I appreciate how Ingrid fulfilled her role as Secretary/Director of the Ctgb. She is a people-oriented executive with due attention for the process and thorough knowledge of the content of our work. She is very committed and has continually professionalised the Ctgb. Of course, the Board respects her decision. I wish her all the best in her next career step."
